Güstrow - Zielow 102 Km. Sunday, 20. 06. 04

A marvellous stretch through the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. From Teterow it is called Mecklenburgische Schweiz (Mecklenburgian Switzerland), again and again a little bit up and down, along lakes and through forest. It is a recreation area and for biker a paradise. Rent a bike is seen everywhere. Cycle tracks are in excellent condition and lead through the most beautiful areas.

Wahren at the lake of Mueritz is a "nationally recognized holiday place". It is written on a sign at the entrance of the city. We cycle the last bit along the western side of the lake of Mueritz via Roebel to Zielow at the southern end of the lake. The youth hostel has a room for tonight.
