With the ferry over the Weser to Bremerhafen

The journey ran cross-country, through small villages, cornfields, marshland and small woods. Over Jade, Schweiburg, along the mud-flats to Norderham.

A ferry takes us over the Weser to Bremerhafen. Here it started to rain but to the youth hostel we still have to go a few kilometres. A taxi driver explains how to get there. Just when we put our bikes in the cycle shed, the rain stopped. After a hot shower we go into the city to find a Post Office, to get Euros for the next few days.
