Bremerhafen -Itzehoe 120 Km. Wednesday, 16. 06. 04

We share our breakfast table with a couple of Dutch cyclist, they are on the way to "North Sea Cycle Route" and two men from West - Virginia. Each tells where they come from and where they are going to.

Looking at the clouds made us put the rain gear on top of our luggage. Instead, rain clothing we have to get out the sun cream in the afternoon. We cycle again cross-country past beautiful landscape without much traffic. After a while we had to interrupt the route to repair a flat tire. One quarter of an hour later we continue.

The route goes over Lintig, Hemmoor, Wingst to Wirschhafen at the Elbe. We take the ferry to cross the Elbe to Glückstadt. From here it is not far to Itzehoe, our destination for today.
